This is not a mini console or a nostalgia toy. THEA1200 is a true home computer, combining authentic Amiga hardware behaviour with modern HDMI and USB connectivity to deliver effortless plug-and-play retro computing on today’s displays.

At its core, THEA1200 delivers accurate emulation of the Amiga 1200 and its Advanced Graphics Architecture (AGA), while also supporting the Amiga 500 (OCS) and Amiga 600 (ECS). Adjustable RAM and ROM options allow you to tailor the system exactly as you remember, or push it further.

Out of the box, you get 25 classic Amiga games, presented via a clean, easy-to-use carousel. These include iconic titles such as Defender of the Crown I & II, Settlers II, the Turrican trilogy, Beneath a Steel Sky, Lure of the Temptress, and Ruff ’n’ Tumble - a carefully curated showcase of Amiga excellence.

Want more? THEA1200 supports USB sideloading with full WHDLoad compatibility, letting you run thousands of legally owned Amiga games and demos, including multi-disk titles with no disk swapping. You can save and resume gameplay at any time, making even the toughest classics approachable again.

For purists and creators, THEA1200 includes Workbench, unlocking the full Amiga desktop experience, from productivity software to programming and development tools. This is a real computer, not just a launcher.

Control is flexible and authentic, with an original-style 2-button mouse and a CD32-style 8-button precision gamepad included, plus wide compatibility with third-party controllers and fully customisable input mapping.
